Information we may collect

• Account information such as email address and authentication records.
• Playlist data, source URLs, metadata, channel names, groups, snapshots, change previews, and export settings that you submit.
• Support messages and legal or abuse notices you send to us.
• Technical data such as device, browser, IP address, security events, and product activity needed to keep the service secure and functioning.
• Billing details such as plan, transaction status, and limited payment metadata. Our payment processor collects payment-card details directly, and Steward does not receive or store full card numbers.

How we use information

• To provide playlist import, editing, preview, snapshot, rollback, and export features.
• To secure accounts, prevent abuse, enforce product boundaries, and respond to support requests.
• To process subscriptions, payments, refunds, and billing communications.
• To improve product reliability, parser behavior, and user experience.

Sensitive playlist data

Playlist URLs and stream URLs can contain sensitive tokens or credentials. The product is designed to redact sensitive URL values in normal API output and reports.

Do not submit playlists, sources, or credentials unless you have the right to use and process them through the service.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help operate the product, including hosting, authentication, email, analytics when enabled, customer support, and payment processing.

If you accept advertising measurement, third parties including Meta and Reddit may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive limited activity and conversion information from Steward and elsewhere on the internet. They may use it to provide measurement services and to target and deliver ads under their own terms.

The measured events may include page visits, signup starts, verified account creation, a first usable playlist, checkout starts, and paid subscription invoices. We do not load this measurement or send these events before you accept.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business transaction, or when you direct us to share it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Retention periods vary by data type and account status.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@choosesteward.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required by law or needed for legitimate security and billing records.

You can control cookies through your browser, use Privacy choices in the site footer to accept or decline advertising measurement, and unsubscribe from optional marketing messages using the link in those messages. Service and billing communications may still be required for your account.
